I use a creative process to listen and uncover what you are saying or sometimes what you are not saying that helps shift your thinking into motivation and action.
When you partner with me as your coach, I will guide and support you as I ask curious questions that move you to re-discover your passion, excitement and confidence.
My clients are often:
Creative
Intelligent
‘Stuck’ for some reason (sometimes you know why, sometimes you don’t)
Ready to launch a life-long dream (but a little terrified at the prospect)
You may have concerns about:
Raising teenage children
Launching a new career
Starting a new project (that book!)
Health concerns (perimenopause, anxiety)
Relationships
Adoption
International Living and Repatriation
How to move your anxiety into creative pursuit
When I turned 30, I went on a road trip with a few friends that we called ‘Left Turn Only Road Trip.’ We packed an overnight bag and other than having a change of clothes, we didn’t know where we would be sleeping that night. The only rule was- you could only turn left. I think it took us two hours to get out of town. We then meandered mountain highways and hit some open field deadends. At the end of day we ended up in Fairplay, Colorado, a small mountain town that South Park is named after. We found a small pub with a live cover band in town across from our hotel and had the time of our lives dancing and singing with the local townies.
Coaching is a lot like this.
You might start out hopeful and curious, with a little bit of hesitancy. We might hit a roadblock or two in your life that you didn’t even know was there. But we also will take some meandering roads with glorious views. I will sit with you the whole way. You are in charge of your destiny, but I will be your biggest supporter along the way.

Anyone can call themselves a coach. ICF-credentialed coaches are professional coaches who have met stringent education and experience requirements, and have demonstrated a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies that set the standard in the profession. In addition, ICF-credentialed coaches adhere to strict ethical guidelines as part of IF's mission to protect and serve coaching consumers.

Most sessions begin with a question like, “What is taking up too much space in your brain these days?” We then work together to problem solve what, why, and how to work yourself out of that issue.
As a coach, I have tools and strategies that will help you embody who you are and what you need. You are the expert on your own life, but often we believe we are our thoughts. Once we can separate ourselves from this belief, we can ease a lot of our own suffering.
Coaching is most helpful if you are committed to at least three sessions. I’m happy to schedule a complimentary 30 minute consultation + discovery session to see if we are a good fit for one another. Sessions can be booked in packages of three, six, or 1x for maintenance.

Coaching is not the same thing as mentoring or therapy. A mentor provides subject matter expertise, wisdom and guidance based on their own experiences. Therapy deals with healing pain, trauma, dysfunction or conflict of some kind, typically with the goal of resolving difficulties that impair an individual's emotional health and psychological functioning. By contrast, coaching focuses on facilitating individuals or groups to draw upon their own experiences and capabilities to set and reach their own objectives. The coach is the expert in the coaching process, but you are the expert on your life journey.

We often find ourselves in the middle of a new transition- moving, jobs, divorce, parenthood, empty nesting, a general feeling of dissatisfaction, you get the picture.
We don’t always need to revisit the past (therapy) in order to propel ourselves forward (coaching). Something we just need support and compassionate listening and important questions being asked to help us sort through what we can’t see when we’re too close to the problem- this is where coaching is helpful.

That’s totally fine. I will share my code of ethics with you. If you’re comfortable, I’m comfortable.
